I closed an account, and I liked it!

QS1 had AF coming next month and I ditched it!

Closing a QS1 is only a good idea when you have outgrown its usefulness. It was the first card in my rebuild and I was bucketed as many people are when their credit files are thin and scores are not where you want them to be.

Looking at the OPs signature line, the OP had outgrown the need for a card with an AF and few benefits.

Congrats! I sent mine to pasture once I got approved for the QS WEMC @10g's. It was fun while it lasted. Took a year to get rid of the closed account block on the sign in page. Smiley Mad

Not blasphemy. Taboo maybe, but not blasphemy. But that just makes it more thrilling. Congrats on closing the card! Enjoy your newfound liberation.
