I went to purchase a laptop off newegg and canceled it because I did something wron in the order but it put a hold on my account . So then I did the order again . Decided to return that purchase and since I already did a balance transfer to that card I went ahead and purchase a new laptop so I won't be without one while I return this one . About an hour after that they suspended charges . The return will take a few weeks and the transfer will take about 2-3 weeks so if they decide to close my account what happens to the transfer and refund?

I did and I have to send in my tax forms but I'm wondering if they close the account what happens to the refund I am asking from Newegg (full refund) and the balance transfer
What company is doing the FR? That wasn't mention in your initial post.
Everyone does one but some are more known than others. I would ask. AmEx why the FR when you were just trying to return an item and had already purchased a replacement

Amex.... Aren't they the only ones who do FR
No, other banks do it as well. Another one who is doing it more now is Citibank.
I would ask them to delay while the refund is being processed...they should understand that it takes time to refund but as far as the BT, I would cancel that

Why cancel it? It should be happening before the refund. Plus can I cancel it? Chase is the card I am transferring it to
