I have otten 1 offer from merrick bank and 1 from state farm bank(insured with them).....I think state farm ws a pre approval letter..... Do know who merrick uses to do soft pulls?

I got my first per approval in the mail today for a American express gold Smiley Very Happy Im gardening now so can't really apply but I'm happy I finally got one! Also I have a zync, don't really need more than one charge card.. Smiley Tongue

DW gets those pre approvals for Citi often as well...but she gets denied if she apps.

 

I'm not getting pre approvals in the mail....

Ever since I got AMEX and Discover, Citi has been softing me and sending me crap like crazy.

are  they the pre approvals with the opt out info in it? I use to get AA  (american airlines) card from citi in the mail but that was just because i have an aa advantage number they were not from softing my credit report
