Loading 7-11 wallet counted as online, according to the famously unreliable email tracker.

But it didn't count as gas on SYW, so I don't think this is very useful at the moment.

AFAIK, you can't use 7-11 wallet like google pay; you have to load it first then spend down your balance. If I'm wrong, I can try it the other way.

I've also been having many misadventures this month.

2 of the gift cards I bought at Walmart last month were MasterCards.  I was planning to use them for rent so it didn't matter (I thought).  However I was unable to use them on appfolio, I think because the expiration date was so far ahead (2033).  I ended up having to go buy Visas with them. -$4.94x 2.

Next my plan for utilities + online in one shot  Apparently Eversource has a limit of $600/transaction.  So I did $400 last Friday and scheduled $400 for the next  day, Saturday.  I got the 5% utilities credit within a few days but after a week without receiving the points I figured it was like Kasheesh and wouldn't work after all despite showing up in the tracker when I tested.  But today I got the tracking email and it says ...$400/$750.  Is it lying?  If not, which $400 transaction worked!? **bleep**!?  The transactions look pretty much identical in terms of text alerts and in the Citi page.

So I head back to Walmart yesterday to do 2x VGC via Walmart pay.  I try to check out and it gives me some error - Due to a security issue your transaction has been declined.  Forces me to use the physical card to complete.

🤬🤬🤬

I noticed that the mission I did last month, 3x grocery, and the 3x Giant Foods, were both available again when Sept 1 hit. Is this a thing that some basic missions are available every month? Free extra $10 is pretty sweet if so.

I am trying to redeem points for the Visa eReward but the site gives error: "There is some problem now, please try to checkout after some time." The SYW app also freezes and it does not help on redeeming. While Sears is at the end of its life, possibly all the people left and nobody remained to fix these IT issues Smiley Happy

Fico8: EX~EQ~TU~810 (12 month goal~840).

All missions are renewed every month, including the grocery.  But I think it is only $3 for 3 purchases.  Unless you are referring to another mission?   There are usually 3-4 missions per month.

Keep in mind, the extra e-Visa redemption points expire quickly, just like the mission points.

Yes, I'm referring to stacking two missions. The 3x purchases at Giant Food is worth 7k, and the 3x Grocery & Delivery. Since that's 90% of our grocery shopping, I had P2 divert 3 small purchases to the SYW there last month (using the BCP normally) to complete them both.

Guess I'll have P2 add a note to do that every month to his card label 😁👍

Re: I'm just loving this SYW card. 10% CB gas, dining, grocery Q1 '23

So K* has been saying for a while that their new cards will work with mobile wallets.

I tried out one of the new cards, and this time it sort of passed through the merchant name (said something like Amazon.com New York, where the New York part come from K*'s address). Still didn't pass a merchant description.

So if mobile wallet functionality ever arrives, maybe there's a chance it will proc some bonuses? Not sure. I guess  lot of moving parts that could break, plus the 2% fee. Would be like my 3rd-best option for stacking online+grocery if it worked, though.

1% SYW rewards paired with 1% debit rewards on payment from Affinity or Quantic (see other thread) negates the Kasheesh surcharge so it could still be essentially free to fulfill the bonus if you didn't have additional fees like with rent.  Plus they keep running fee free months as promos anyway.

I did receive the 200k points for $750 spend today.  I guess by 1x of my two electric payments and 1x Walmart Pay of $500.  I attempted to complete a 2nd Walmart transaction to ensure I achieved the bonus but Walmart pay has been very unreliable.  Was going to do bank account funding on Monday if the points hadn't credited by then.
