The ratings says that American Express ranked "first" and Discover ranked "second" in customer service but hell Discover sucks, especially in disputing transactions. I guess that doesn't apply to Amex?
(sorry I'm noob ...)
I did visit the pre-qualified page on the Amex website but I was never qualified for any of their cards thus I'm afraid my comptuer would explode if I click the "submit" button on the Amex app page.
I think its really an YMM V situation when it comes with customer service i had no issue when i got double charged by an restaurant. Discover did everything. I don't pre qual for any cards with amex either so they maybe really ultra conservative with their pre qual link .

Well if you ever Shop at costco you need some sort of Amex Credit card if you want to shop with a Credit card. It can be the PRG , BCE or whatever.
2nd Amex CLI policy is one of the best you get 3X 61 days andthen 6 months after each all using SP's.
3rd I have loved Amex and Discover's CSR's so it varies by experience.

Don't forget the backdating !!! and also all their cards come with an 1 year extended warranty i believe.
the CLI's are what really interest me. I know Chase doesn't usually want to be the highest limit so if I can build these limits up I can get a nice one when I go for Freedom and or CSP in future
But I'm still torn on what revolver to get

Chase gave me a auto CLI on my Amazon.com card on my 3rd statement .... I'm actually thinking about getting a CS or CSP and transfer all the limit of my Amazon.com card over to the new card. Just not sure if now's the time to apply and choosing between CS and CSP.
