Doing a little hedge trimming this week! Now that I have no use for upgrading my Capital One card to the Quicksilver rewards do you think I should just cut it loose? It only has a $300 limit and contacting EO/FB/customer service has done absolutely nothing to get a CLI or rewards upgrades. Opened it in August of 2011 so it has some history, but nothing my AAoA couldn't recover from.
I also never really use my Best Buy card anymore, but that was opened 06/2010 so I'm a bit hesitant to close.
Feels so good to finally have a well-rounded profile of rewards for 99% of the shopping I do regularly! Thank you MyFico for all your help along the way!!!

If you decide to close your cards they may stay in your credit report for up to 10 years. If your concern is that they will disappear, they won't.
+1

Why? What's wrong with closing.
Closed the CapOne account. They CS on the line could clearly care less about retention. I realize it's just a low-tier rebuilder card but my experience with that company has not been good at all.
