Re: *INTEREST CHARGE* REFUND ????

I just noticed the same thing when I recently paid off my PayPal Mastercard balance. The refund was $230 which caused me to go into a negative balance. Think I'm safe transferring the negative balance back to my bank account? I also saw a drop in my APR. Of course I will ask them, but I'm always leery of pleasant surprises like this.

Re: *INTEREST CHARGE* REFUND ????

The 18.24 apr goes back up to 23.99 and 26.99 as of 11/19/2014, at least for me.

It was mentioned at the end of my Sept/2014 statement.

I have about $5500 charged and will try to pay it all off before then.

So you might want to look at your recent statements before you start getting comfortable and charging it left and right or else you may end up getting slammed with some pretty steep interest charges.

mine says:

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Re: *INTEREST CHARGE* REFUND ????

This happened to me as well.

If you have a negative balance, a call to the automated system gives an option to send a check for the credit. I just received and cashed the check from syncrony bank for $932.30. It took less than a week.

I wonder if the transfer to Syncrony bank from GE capital unearthed the mistake.

Regardless....thank you very much Palpal/Syncrony...nice doing business with ya!
