First off, I read this whole thread and got the itch.
With my last lender pull on 7/10/12 and my Experian being 619, Equifax 596 from Scorewatch.
I called, and my deceased grandfather was retired Army - I was able to join no problem. After this I decided to apply for the credit card.
History : 3 collections, all paid off but still on the credit report. Many inquireies recently.
Was instantlly approved for 8,000$! I'm amazed, if you can get in, and are rebuilding credit APPLY!

Had an itch.....so I applied. Got approved for $14,000 limit!!...
nice! Just got my $17,500 NavyFed card in the mail today... don't even want to think about it... won't even let my mind wonder to what possibilities I could buy with it
I also gave it a shot and I got approved for a $2k limit! I opened an account 2 days ago. I was expecting to be declined because of my horrible credit. I have a high util, a few charge offs and 5 collections! NFCU is awesome! Going to see if i can get a 0% BT when the card comes in.

How long from approval did it take to receive your card in the mail? Regular mail?
My chargeoffs are 4 years old, and my collections are the following: 2 medicals for 2k from 2009, 1 for 159 from 2010, and 2 from MCM that are reporting for 7k.
