Interesting AMEX Platinum 75k offer

I already have it, but thought this one was pretty funny since it specifically excludes current AND former Amex members.

If you look at the other offers, they do not specifically exclude previous or current members.

I got my 100k MR Platinum offer as a current member.

That PRG says you have to make the purchases between 7/15/2017 and 10/15/2017?? That must be a mistake, right? Surely they meant 2016.

For that offer, I think they mean 2017. It seems to be a bonues for keeping and using the card, thereby paying the annual fee next year.

Yes they use that language all the time but it's never enforced.  Nothing new.

Oh okay that makes sense. I always wondered why some of the offers said 2017. Assumed it to be a mistake.
