Meh don't mind it being limited to NewEgg persay as long as it's 0% interest for 12 months and hidden.

Both offer 0% for 6 months for qualifying purchases.  A certain amount of spend is required.  Paypal had 12 month (and more) above a higher amount of spend and I've used it but can't seem to find it currently.

FYI -- it's "per se".

would 665 get me a newegg preferred account or waste of a pull if I decide to do it.

Can't really guarantee anything but both products are designed for those with less than stellar credit.  You may, for example, qualify but only for a small line.  I used BML/Paypal Credit much more when rebuilding after my BK but since my reports became clean my credit cards have significantly outgrown my PPC tradeline and offer rewards as well.

NewEgg preferred seems to give decent limits meaning 2k-4kish.

As with all credit products it depends on what you qualify for.  My PPC limit is greater than the upper end of what you're stating for NewEgg but, again, YMMV.

Unless you just absolutely need it to be hidden. The PayPal,extra rewards mastercard is not bad. Transunion pull.

Thanks Takeshi and Taxi.. I don't need it hidden, just prefer it that way so some of my new creditors don't wonder why I am carrying a 1500 balance for x months.  I have always wanted a hidden trade line as well.  1500 isn't much, but prefer it just not to be on a normal reporting card is all... could easily do it on my ED or Freedom with 0% interest for the 12 months and pay off x amt each month...  sounds like a pretty easy approval, how much is the question..  Only one way to find out..

As long as you don't have too many recent EQ inqs, you should be in great shape for the PayPal credit and newegg lines. My starting limit on newegg was 2k.

Obviously alot of new account 5 in the last 5 months, inquiry wise on Equifax 2 in the last 6 months or so; 8 inquires total 2 falling off next month and a few the months following?  Ya anything below 1500 would be a waste for me, but I think with some of my CL's that shouldn't be an issue getting at least 2k.

Comenity doesn't give that much of a crap about new accounts so much. You'll be fine.

Re: Is PayPal credit the same as Bill me later?

Would love a hidden TL, but think I will just pay with a rewards card after thinking it over and just pay cash for the 1400-1500 i need for the new computer...  If I didn't have 8 pulls and only had 3 on EQ I would, but 2k CL isn't worth the HP for me..  I am torn, but just don't think it is worth it.  If it was TU I would be all over it.

@Anonymous,

With Paypal, keep in mind the only way to get a CLI is to go over the limit.  I was buying something on ebay for $50 and applied.  I got approved for $1,800. Yep,$1,800..  I have been abusing the line a llittle since LOL.. I bought a treadmill for around 2,500, got approved and then later cancelled the order.  So now my limit is around the $2,500..  Now I like having it so don't rule it out...

Lol had to throw in the return lol.. Did they do another HP for the CLI since you went over your limit or a SP?  Also lets say I get a crappy 750 limit and my purchase is 1500 how would the other 750 be taken care of?  My backup fund aka bank account or CC and it would max out my PayPal Credit account?

Just wondering since I am seeing the paypal popup for paypal credit everytime I login are they saying please take me as your are going to be approved or advertisement, never use to show up...  Also I have a business paypal account, does that matter as it is under my company name, not my personal name.  Granted If I apply it will be under my personal credit.. dang you Yes-its-me, making me thing again!
