Is it possible to turn an Amazon store card into an Amazon Visa?

Mine is a 6k store card but was curious if anyone ever inquired to see if it's possible to convert it into an Amazon Visa. Guessing no but never know, figured I'd ask. Thanks in advance

Different issuers so the desired product change is not possible.

Amazon store card is issued by Syncrony.

Amazon Visa is issued by Chase.

Doesn't it involve a new account, even when Synchrony issues both the store card and major network card? I vaguely recall some excitement when there were some supposed PCs, but think those "PCs" all later resulted in new accounts being reported.

I could be mistaken.

That's basically what Wells Fargo does for a "pc" so i wouldn't put it passed Synchrony to pull the same shenanigans.

Point is moot though as Sync doesnt have a Visa version for Amazon. Dont think Chase would like that too muchSmiley Wink
