Is the JP Morgan Select still available to new customers?

I just want to ask if anybody knows if they are still taking applications at Chase branches since I might apply for one. Thanks.

They don't have it on their website since last few months... I don't think you will be able to apply for it at your local branch..

But hey let us know if otherwise..

No, the card is discontinued.  It is unavailable to apply or a new one as well as PC'ing into one.  Existing cards will be grandfathered in.

My Cards
American Express Blue | American Express Premier Rewards Gold | Chase Amazon | Chase Freedom | Chase Sapphire Preferred | Chase United Explorer | Chase United MileagePlus Club | JPMorgan Palladium

I don't know why people keep repeating this, but the J.P. Morgan Select card is NOT discontinued; just because it's not listed on the Chase public website doesn't mean it no longer exists. You are supposed to have a JPMC wealth management relationship to apply though.

Very true that the JPM Select and Palladium are still around. Just need to talk to w wealth management specialist/private banker for requirements and qualifications.

Re: Is the JP Morgan Select still available to new customers?

I think they might have taken the JPM Select card away from CPC though. Strangely enough, CPC clients can still apply for the JPM Palladium card.

Re: Is the JP Morgan Select still available to new customers?

I use the JPM P when I need to make big purchases for the hidden tradeline.

I wonder what are the criteria for the select.

Re: Is the JP Morgan Select still available to new customers?

Just confirmed with some friends that work in CPC that they no longer offer the JPM Select card. You now have to be a J.P. Morgan client to apply for the Select card, which kind of makes it more exclusive than the Palladium card now. Hah.
