The same way I used to pay my utilities? I found the company, entered account number and then sent payment? Does that pull out funds immediately? Does the cc start sending bills to my banking account?
i think it depends on your bank , but my cu i think it would take few days for payment to go thru, when i did push from my banking site. If you do it directly thru the cc website, in this case chase, i think its much faster.

Thanks for the info! I like how amex takes your money out within hours. I wish they all did that. I will try a few payments via boa. Especially GE since they take forever to post.
good luck i like to play it safe and I usually do my payments thru the cc website, i feel its quicker and more reliable that way. Tell us how it turns out with push thru Bank of America.

No, it's not considered risky at all. I run most if not all my monthly bills through either CSP, PRG or Discover. Pay them at the end of the month.
That electric bill brings tears to my eyes.
Just saying =(
I don't use AC, turn off and unplug everything but the fridge and microwave when I'm not home (All on two surge protected, so easy) and almost never use lights. I'm a single guy. So my bill is much lower. Do you have a whole family to power?

Yes, I have a family of 5 so I have power going all the time. Lights, tv, gaming systems, computers, laundry.....everything!! I am constantly turning things off around the house.

From your bank accounts online bill pay to Chase.
Too bad Chase does not support eBill anymore, which mean banks will have to send a paper check to them. Am I understand it right?

My point is with large payments on a new card doing it through the Chase website is not going to be faster. I don't know what the cutoff amount is but on new accounts Chase drops the hold on the payment if its too large. You get credited right away for making the payment, but they don't free up your available credit for like a week unless you call them and then have them call your bank while you are on the phone. This only applies for like the first six months of the card. Obviously with smaller payments it is quicker to pay through the CC website itself as a push payment can take a 2-3 days at times.
Another benefit of a push payment is that Chase will only let you pay a little more than the current balance. So if you have a lot of pending charges that have not cleared yet you can not pay them through the chase website until they post. With a push payment there is no such limitation, so its nice to be able to pay all your current and pending charges at once, especially if your trying to do so before a statement cut date when the charges are going to post right before it cuts and may not give you much time to make another payment.
I got my CSP approved exactly a month & 1 day ago (Sept. 3rd), and I've already put $2.4k on it. Made few big payments for bill (all $600 range) and no problem yet. I'm so close to getting those sweet 40k points! Btw, I only swiped the card physically like 3times since i got it (rest all from paying bills, etc.) Gluck!

Oh my, your bill suddenly makes sense. In fact, you do a pretty good job of keeping it low lol
