Jared-Kays-Sterling Bank

I was approved for a Jared card a week ago. I applied also to Kays and was approved.  They lady at Kays told me I could use the Jared card at Kays and vice versa.

Does anyone know if this is indeed a fact?  I was under the impression they are two separate credit lines and could NOT be used at each others store.

I believe that Kay and Jared are both owned by sterling jewelers. As to whether you can use their cards in either jewelery store, I don't know.

Answering my own  question might help someone else.  I went to Jared today and they told me absolutely not you cannot use a Kay at Jared or Jared at Kays.

She said she doesn't know why the Kay manger said that.  She said yes they are owned by same bank, but thats all.
