Just closed my Credit One cards!

It feels great but I’m sure my score will drop a little. The card with a $450 balance I had since 11/2017. The $800 limit I just got in a soft pull offer and it wasn’t even reporting yet, so I doubt that will hurt my score.

They did did try to fight it, and offered to wave the AF fee on the 450 card, but not the $800 new card. I said no I’m good. They were really persistent but eventually they cancelled. I they transferred me to “specialist” twice in the process.

i know they were no good for me but I’ll miss it as one, the $450 one, it was my 3rd card in my rebuild. Now I only have my first card, which is a QS1 card, used to be a secured card that I combined my 2nd card which was also a cap 1 secured to create.

Anywho, next to go are First Premier and Indigo in January before there fees in February hit. Avant card will go in July, then that’s all my AF cards except the QS1.

Thanks. Now hopefully in a few months my NFCU card will unsecured and I can app for a better card, and get a PenFed card. My discover it I’m told to apply for a cli in 91 days so I’m trying to be patient lol

First thanks! I have a question. Do you know what your scores were when you when you applied for NFCU Go Rewards? I have a secured card with them I got a earlier this month. I was going to try and app for the Go Cash or Visa Sig. My Fico 8 with TU is 693. It was 633 when I had applied. I had a collection that has since been removed. I also have a ton of inquiries lol. Do you know what your DP were at the time of apping.
