Just unfreeze my credit files...

I just unfreeze my credit files on all 3 bureaus (Experian, Equifax & TransUnions) for 30 days to apply for new credit cards.

How long does it take for the credit bureaus to actually unfreeze my credit files? I don't want to apply too soon but at the same time, I don't want to wait too long either. The websites say anywhere from 3 to 15 days to unfreeze but anyone actually has an experience on waiting time?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Just unfreeze my credit files...

In my experience, immediately. I can't recall which two bureaus, but I have twice unfrozen them while sitting at computer while on a recon call. They were able to access them as soon as I clicked unfreeze.

If you did it online its immediate, however I would give it until tommorow. Anytime i've ever lifted a freeze it was immediate.
