...they offered 0% for 6 months or 5% off the refrigerator I was buying. I opted for the 5%. This card really did nothing for me until now. The catch was the purchase had to be over $400. Since then, I received a mailer where the limit now seems to be $299 or 0% financing for one year (not sure if this is just for new cardholders). Now I don't feel this card it worthless anymore!
Secondly, I requested a CLI on the site a few months ago and was denied for not enough usage. I requested one after I paid for the fridge and bam, $1500 to $3000. It's not much (GEMB's never liked me), but it's something!
Edited to add: I just looked on the site and the financing is 18 months but the "offer" ends today, 5/2, so not sure if ANY of the above holds true anymore, or just a portion.
My understanding is that the 5% off for all purchases (no minimum purchase required!) is a permanent feature of the card. And, it applies to both new and existing accounts.

That would be great! It's hard to tell from their site: http://www.lowes.com/cd_Credit+Card+Accounts+from+Lowes_781778798_&cm_cr=/
It seems that way though...at least for now! This will be the only reason I keep this card open! Thanks, tinuviel!
