Sorry guys but Best Buy was just taken over by Capital One.......... Another card I'm afraid I'll never see grow.....

too my knowledge, and other posts on here, kohls is money backed by cap one but kohls makes all the decisions.

yes this is true i spoke to someone from the EO once and they told me this and i called for a CLI today and she started asking me all the normal CLI questions and i was getting excited thinking they were doing them and she comes back with same stuff theyve been saying. but i will not close them as i save alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ with them. once i saved over $300 because of sales and 30% coupon.
A little trick I do with Kohl's: Since I have to use my Kohl's card when they send me those 30% coupons, I only charge $5 of my total to the Kohl's card and charge the rest to my Amex BCE. You don't need to charge the whole transaction to the Kohl's card to take advantage of the discount. That way, I save the 30% on top of the sales, earn my 2% cash back for using my BCE, and prevent my util from going sky high. Then, just make a payment at the register to keep it zero balance, which is what I do due to my measly $300 limit. I got this card back in 2007 and no CLI since I got it

I believe you can simply charge all your amount to Amex BCE and $0 to Kohl's card.
Just called Kohls and spoke with underwiting.
Went from $300 to $1500....$1200 CLI.
It was a SP and I had to provide income info.
Not bad.
