Have you pulled your scores from here?? CK scores are pretty much worthless/educational. Not to rain on your parade but I would hope you could be happy with legit FICO scores.

The EQ FICO provided here is Beacon 5.0 and used alot by lenders; however, the TU FICO score provided here is TU98 which is also more of an educational score/used rarely by lenders.

TU04 and TU08 are used the most by lenders. You can get your TU08 FICO score free monthly if you either have or open a Walmart CC from GE Capital.

Well, you're about to get slammed by all the brainwashed FICO fanboys, barking about how FAKO scores aren't kosher - blah, blah, blah - but the fact that CK is reporting a high score is still worth a pat on the back - and it means that your on the right path.

Congratulations & keep up the good work !!

Well, they arent. Smiley Wink

Folks here would want people to shoot them straight instead of sugar coating things. I would definitely hope I get that same treatment here. We are all here to help. Smiley Happy

Not saying that score isn't worth a pat on the back, its nice to see something like that but how would you feel going for loan and thinking your good as gold for it and then getting kicked down to reality because you based your intentions on a FAKO score........

Re: Latest score

It's also a good bet that this thread will be moved to a place where no one will see it -

Anything other than praise for almighty FICO, get removed before it can do too much damage.

I'm definitely not praising a FICO score, I believe CK and TU98 here are one in the same. Its really a shame they can't offer TU08 here to the consumers.

It'll probably be moved to Understanding FICO scoring, which is understandable.

Re: Latest score

I understand that It's a FACO score. But I recently got a new Chase Sapphire Card and Blue Amex Cash. That was when my FACO score was 720.

Those are great cards too!!!

It's good that you understand the difference, most people coming into the board do not.

I'm not picking on you or anyone else, but it gets a bit tedious hearing about the True FICO Score (which even you might agree - is only a snapshot of a moment in time).  The FICO score that is pulled by the consumer, is rarely the same one that is sold to the lender.

So, as a basic guide to how one is doing, without having to shell-out the bucks, or getting trapped in the web of ScoreWatch (which I hear - is very difficult to cancel, once they have your credit card info), the free reporting services offer a great alternative.
