You would think so but Disco wouldn’t hand them out every 30 days or even less if the behavior actually bothered them lol.
@Anonymous wrote:Surely there is some sort of negative to asking for a CLI every thirty days? Perhaps as credit seeking behavior, or just plain nagging. lol
Quarterly or even every six months should be sufficient. Given most CC typically give out auto CLIs annually.
Nah, if that were the case with me asking every 7 days I would have reported something adverse coming from it.
I don't agree with your statement that most CC typically give out auto CLIs annually. What are you basing that on?

@Anonymous wrote:I understand for the point of this discussion it's taken as a given the getting the CL as high as possible is a good thing. But....! If over the course of several years your CL turns out to be $20K lower than it could have been, what exactly is the real loss....
You answered your own question at the outset: considerably LESS of a "good thing".
The "But...!" indicated that I didn't agree with the premise.
Ahhh, I see. Well then: WALDT
Or: you play your game & I'll play mine.
Apparently some interpretted this post of mine as "unfriendly." I hope @longtimelurker didn't feel that way because no ill intent was pointed in that direction. Please let me clarify my comments:
Ahhh, I see: I misunderstood your previous post. Now I get what you meant.
Well then: WALDT: We All Like Different Things. What is being said here is: it's perfectly fine for you to like what you like (lower CL) and for me, or anyone else, to like what I/we like (maximum CL).
You play your game & I'll play mine: just another way of saying what I just said about WALDT ( I wasn't certain all readers would recognize the acronym so I thought it would be helpful to write it a 2nd way): "your game" = seeking lower limits; "my game" = seeking max limits. You do yours & I'll do mine. No criticism of either position stated or implied. In fact, just the opposite.
Hope we are good @longtimelurker!
