Re: Left the garden for Barclays Arrival

It's always nice to have both visa signature and world mastercard, especially if you are using the card overseas. Just to be on the safe side, in case the place you're at doesn't accept visa.

Re: Left the garden for Barclays Arrival

So, since I am being issued the Platinum version, will I still have no FTF?  Or is that only with the WMC?

I am not entirely sure, but my guess is you will have no FTF. The rewards structure stays the same as well. Only difference is WMC vs. Plat MC benefits, if I am not wrong.

Hopefully that's the case.  The no FTF is the part I care about!

Everything's the same, except the Plat lacks the added benefits of World MC.  Some issuers will offer a lesser sign-up bonus when one doesn't qualify for the World version, but not Barclays.

OK phew!  Yeah, I don't really care about the WMC benefits.  Just the no FTF and sign up bonus Smiley Wink

Re: Left the garden for Barclays Arrival

Thank you!  I'm still pretty surprised and definitely excited for my vacation this fall...my Southwest points are paying for my airfare and the 40,000 pts from this card will cover a hotel for a couple of nights! Smiley Happy
