Is it 50k in charges? Or 50k in matchable points?
$50K in total spend/charges.
Nice one, maybe 100k will be back?

Finstar, I have no clue if it's WMC/Visa Sig? I just assumed visa sig, but I app'd through the 50k link if that matters.
Well if you were approved for $5K, then it should be either

Approved for 45k... WHAT! Yeah, I'm sitting here in shock as I had no idea that was even possible (and is now my highest limit card).
Wow, fantastic CL! What's that income of your's!?

Based on other sites' info, cap1 also had a separate sign-up promo for 100k, but one had to show 100k miles / points in an airline rewards program as well in order to qualify.
Basically it seems that the 100k promos are targeted towards heavy spenders / frequent travelers only.
I didn't realize that some were required to show 100k miles/points in an airline program as well. All they asked for was a copy of my year-end summary showing total annual spend on a non-Cap1 travel card.
What happens if you just used all of your miles and have an empty mileage account balance?

So long as it's shown the amount used during the year, it's fine. Present balance could be 0, but as long as the statement shows at least"100,000 (or whatever bonus amount) redeemed."
