Looking at Citi Simplicity or Diamond Preferred......need some advice.

My husband is looking at different cards (for use, and some balance transfer)  He checked out the pre-approval site and was offered the above two cards.

Question, how is is Citi with starting limits?   His scores are around 750, his highest card limits are $18,000 (Penfed), $11,000 (Barclay) and CareCredit ($20,000).

He doesn't want to waste a pull for a $5K SL.    

P.S.  He HATES Chase, so won't even consider Slate......lol

I have a diamond preferred and don't love it.  I use my CSP and CitiHHonors the most.
