My plan was to app for the USAA MC this spring/summer, since I was denied last year. However, based on a post I've read here, I realized that ltd. members CAN'T get their Rewards CCs. So, I'm now looking for a good MC w/rewards. I want it to be a MC, since I already have Navy's Reward Visa.
Any suggestions?

I, too, am searching for a rewards MC. I closed my Cap One secured last year (and although it didn't have any rewards, I'm missing a MC in my wallet). Like you, I was denied a USAA MC when I apped last year so I've been trying to find another card. However, I'm apping for a mortgage in the next few weeks so I won't be applying for anything until well after I close (and definitely way after it's funded). I'd just like to know what's available when I do take the pull. I'll be following this thread and taking notes!
Me too, after ditching BBRZ, I no longer have a MC.
Chase Freedom has a MasterCard version with same rewards as the Visa version.

The "Jimmy Fallong" card seems pretty good. Straight 2% rewards, but with a $59 fee. On the bright side, I can finally get a TU inquiry with CapOne.
The card I was referring to (green "cash rewards" card) has no AF, 1%cash back and a 50%bonus at end of year. Also, zero foreign transaction fees. I'm done applying for at least 6 mos, but my next app will be for that or the citi forward.

Ok, I see. Sorry, I was confused with the green Sparks card.
Yeah, this looks to fit the bill. 1.5% with no forex fee and a MC is perfect. Only downside is the 3 hard pulls, but I think it's worth it.
All the above are good suggestions, plus there's BofA. I vote for the Chase Freedom or Sapphire, both of which are available in MC.
You're not missing much on the USAA MC, the rewards are craptastic on it anyway. 0.45% up to $5k, 0.85% up to $10k, 1.0% up to $17.5k, 1.25% beyond that. You'd have to spend over $20k/yr to catch up with a 1% card, and they only redeem your cashback once a year.
