Hi everyone!!

After months of fixing my credit, I finally reached a good score of high 700's for all 3 credit bureaus. I am looking for a good credit card that is really good. One that has offers good credit line increases, balance transfers or any other perks. If anyone can recommend one based on their own personal experience, I will really appreciate it.

Thanks.

You need to be more specific about what features would be of value to you.

E.g., cash rewards, travel rewards, low interest, low fees, etc.

Personally, I like looking at people's signatures such as SouthJamaica's. If enough members have it, then perhaps it's a sign to investigate the card.

Or that it was a FoTM card that people rushed to!   Also, cards get nerfed so it might have been good at the time of application but not now.    But if you don't have other leads, I guess that is as good as any.

And then some of us don't use signatures

There are a lot of considerations most signatures don't mention.

- Income

- Major spend categories (and how much spend each card actually gets)

- Hotel/airline status or loyalty

- Bank/brokerage status perks

- Ability to PIF

- Grandfathered features

- Geographic restrictions

- How a card is used (perks vs. major spend)

- Whether a card is just kept for history

- Bonus chasing vs. long term

- Intention to close a card or put more spend on it

Spend: BofA PR + WWFCR, BBP, Schwab Platinum, CFF+CF, Costco, Discover
Perks: IHG49, Hyatt75, Delta Platinum, "Old" SPG95
SD/AAoA Ballast: Arrival, CFU, DC
Upgrade/downgrade games: BCE, EDP
SUB: JetBlue, Amex Platinum
Mostly earning MRs and cash back as I use up hotel and airline points spread across several programs.

I can't agree with you more. It's a start. Not knowing what OP's wants or needs are is difficult to make a suggestion.

I agree with you. There are a lot of variables to consider. What card works for one person might not work for OP.

Given enough time you could see an endorsement for every credit card in existence here. We need to know your spending habits - what your major spend is on - plus whether you’re looking for cash back or points, and an idea of income to make a recommendation. Altitude Reserve is touted highly here but it’s tough to get. CNB Crystal is reputed to be excellent too but requires higher income. A number of Amex and Chase cards are great...if you travel frequently.

And so on ad nauseum.

Give us some lifestyle and income ideas and we can help.

Yes.  And even then, there are so many other variables that would be impossible to quantify in a signature that trying to compare your situation, needs, and profile to other My Fico'ers can be very misleading.  We're a lot more different, in many ways, than we realize.

Re: Looking for a GREAT credit card

^^^ no doubt. I am not rich or a baller, but I do make a pretty decent living. However, there are people here who charge and pay off in full in two months, what I make in a year before taxes, and who probably have fewer cards than I do. The signatures can give an idea, but there is a huge amount of variation within the profiles behind them.
