This^ requires 10k annual spending to get 3% CB
I saw that too. But I don't have a business and I am not sure how easy or hard it is to qualify as a business. ?
I can spend $10k annually easily. My employer offers insurance or pays you to find your own. It's much cheaper for my family to take the insurance allowance and buy our own. So, we pay $1200 per month on a credit card in insurance alone. Great for rewards.
you can apply as a sole proprietor, use your SSN as an EIN on the application. Do you know that everything we do everyday some of them might consider as business that we never notice it.
Jump over google to find blogs that give you in deep details what count as business.
To be honest, business version is not hard to get

Any insight for the balance chase by Citi?
I made a few large purchases almost 6k worth paid the entire balance in full 3 days before my mpayment was due,and I guess they didnt like that....and the limit was immediatley cut to $400 I applied for an increase and they increased to $600
How long did it go unused prior to that, or if used what was the typical usage per month? It simply might have set off their alarm that someone suddenly used it to charge a significant amount more that average spend during a time of uncertainty. IMO that seems very extreme to go from $7K to $400 when they could have just halved it and waited to see if it was a one time thing or a sign of taking on more debt. I also supsct that you called in too early for a CLI and that's why it was only $200. You might have to just wait it out with CLI requests every six months and out regular usage with PIF monthly to get that CL back.
I guess it depends on whether this account it worth it to you enough to stick with them and try to get back what was taken, but there are pleny of 2% replacements so there's that. I guess be happy it wasn't a more rare earner. And good luck with the search!
There are plenty of options. Get some of 5% cards in the market (rotationally or by category). If not, get some general 1.5% cards without cap (CFU, BOA PR).
