Looking for a new credit card

Hi Guys,

Currently shopping around a new credit card.

Have a $3,500 bill coming in the next 2 months.

My credit karma is 792 TransUnion and 799 Equifax.

I have 10 credit cards and all of them are personal card. I was told I should get a business card next.

Main attraction:

No Annual Fee

0% APR for 12+ months, the longer the better

Cash Back, the higher % the better

Rewards Sign Up Bonus. (Cash > Air Miles). I will be spending about $3,500 in the 1st month.

Thank you

Re: Looking for a new credit card

Mastercard BLACKCARD ($495 annual fee. Just to brag and show off)

Bank Of America Bank AmeriCard (current card. 3 months left of 0% apr)

Citi DoubleCash (sign for the double cash but didn’t realized it was a 14.99 apr)

Discover IT (my favorite card. Stopped using because ran out the 15 months apr and gotten the BOA card)

Capital One QuickSilver (wanted to get higher credit limit on my credit report so I just open this up)

Wells Fargo CashWise x2 (my first credit card. Worker just talked me into it)

PayPal Extras (CLOSED)
Chase Freedom (CLOSED) (my least favorite company)

Re: Looking for a new credit card

I know you hate chase but they have some of the best business options for your situation..... Spend 3,000 get 500 cash back sign up bonus.... No annual Fee and 0% apr for 12 months...

That's on both the Chase Ink Business Cash and Business Unlimited Cards....

AMEX has some options but the sign up bonus is weak in my opinion but they do offer 0% for 15 months

Re: Looking for a new credit card

Capiyol One Savor has a $500 cb bonus right now.

Just a thought, im not sure paying $500 for a card just to brag is worth it especially as it isnt the most exclusive card out there, majority of people out there wont know the difference between that black card and say a black Credit One and probably better use fir your $500. Just a thought though if you enjoy its benefits , thats what countsSmiley Wink

Re: Looking for a new credit card

Cap One has several 0% cards including SavorOne and QuickSilver.

Wells Fargo Propel is a nice reward card with 0% offer and no AF.

Just so you know, BLACKCARD probably has more negative image than possitive now.

Doubt it has any benefits you can't get with a better card for less or no AF.

YMMV.

Re: Looking for a new credit card

As mentioned, the Chase business cards would be good for you. $500 in cash or more if you want travel miles for $3000 in spend with no annual fee.

I'd hate to turn this into a Black Card bashing thread, but I'm going to do it anyway cause I absolutely hate that card more than any other card on the market. It is the Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton of credit cards. Not good for anything and only famous for being famous. And I agree with the above. The average person doesn't know the difference between that card and the Discover it secured card which is also black in color. The informed person who knows credit cards knows what the card really is and how worthless it is.

-1 Black Card

If you "show it off" to people who know about credit, they won't think you're ostentatious but successful. They'll think you're ostentatious and gullible.

Re: Looking for a new credit card

You have a double cash back card for everything else spending

You have the IT card for the 5% rotating category.

I would think the best free option would be the Wells Fargo Propel card combined with Wells Fargo Visa Signature.  The WF combo comes with a 30,000 point sign up bonus and 4.5% back (if using the Go far Rewards Travel Portal, 3% cash back) on

Eating out and ordering in;

Gas, rideshares, and transit;
Flights, hotels, homestays, and car rentals;
Popular streaming services.
