Looking for some guidance

I am debating between applying for a Chase Freedom card or a Citi Diamond Preferred. FICO varies between

701 - 728.

If you have an opinion on which might be best please let me know. Am basically looking for chances for approval

and beginning CL.

Thank you.

You can't go wrong with the Biggest USA Bank which is Chase! Plus Chase has branches everywhere in case you want/need to pop in and make a payment.....and now you have built a relationship with the biggest bank! Car loans, home loans, personal loans, business loans, credit cards.......Chase for the win in my opionion.

Chase because the rewards on Citi are not very good.

Can't go wrong with Chase. Stay away from Citi and their subpar "rewards" program.

And then today I just received an invitation from Chase Slate adding another choice to the mix. Ok I am going to go

with Chase, but now which one?  Geez  :-)

Re: Looking for some guidance

Definitely Chase Freedom. The rewards and earning points potentilal is way better. Do not get the Slate unless you are looking to balance transfer. It does not earn UR points.

Re: Looking for some guidance

In agreeance with all other posters.  Of those three, go with the Freedom.

Not really.  My nearest branch is 100 miles way (although there are ATMs at the airport.)   This is Boston, not exactly the middle of nowhere!
