Think credit unions. PenFed comes to mind. Also know that the current financial situation has caused some lenders to not be as generous as they once were.

She got a letter from pended with $100 bonus.

What is required to get the 2% cash back vs the 1.5%?

[Assumption is that you are talking about the PF Cash Rewards.]

You qualify for 2% back if you are a military veteran or if you DD at least $500 monthly into a PF Bank account,

BBVA is one that comes to mind for me, $100 statement credit with $$1500 spend in 90 days & 13 months 0% APR, even has a pretty solid prequal tool. They use EXP 9.

How old is your first Discover card? May be able to get a second one depending on how long you’ve had the first.
