Looking forward to AMEX SP!

My statement cut last week and got a SW alert yesterday with a EQ FICO of 734. I'm past my 62 days with AMEX and want to get a CLI. I really want to hit the love button but I'm going to wait till AMEX SP me so they can see my new updated utlization. It went from 23% to 7%. Any way to induce a SP??

AMEX: $25,000, CSR: $10,000, Chase Priority Club: $1,500, Freedom: $5000, Freedom Unlimited: $1000, Discover: $21,000, BoA $11,000, WF Cash Wise: $5000

EQ FICO - 753
TU FICO - 755
EX FICO(AMEX) - 766

Re: Looking forward to AMEX SP!

Ask Duncanrr. I believe the consensus was there is no convenient way. It will happen when it happens.

But in the end I believe he ended up going for the CLI before he was SP'ed (he tried waiting, but it took so long) and was approved.  YMMV.

Big thread devoted to it, I will go try to find it.

In My Wallet: Amex BCP (12/12) $50,000, Chase Freedom (12/12) $16,500, Cap1 Quicksilver (6/12) $14,000, Barclaycard Rewards (5/13) $10,500, Citi Prestige (4/16) $30,000

Re: Looking forward to AMEX SP!

Make sure you pay off these before there statements cut.  AMEX BCE: $33/$5400, More: $15/$4750

You will probably see a 10 point increase from just reporting 1 card with a balance vs 3.

Re: Looking forward to AMEX SP!

SnackTrader is correct. There is nothing you can really do about it. Be patient. I went two months between SP's when a CSR told me they do one once a month on new accounts.

I need SP from them as well. I need to app for Amex BCE in Jan. They last SP me on 11/12/12 and util is about 18% (2 cards).

If they SP me now, my UTIL will be 7-8% and reported on ONE card only.

Re: Looking forward to AMEX SP!

What I did to make sure they had an updated SP, was to app for the Gold PRG, which I was approved for.

THEN I requested a 3x CLI on my delta gold and was approved instantly.
