Lost in Amex country...

Ok..quickie for the Amex crowd.

Just joined the last of the zync(npsl) crowd at the end of Sept. It's not showing on my Cr's yet (obviously).

How soon can I app for another charger?

I'm already getting the general "offering" emails from Amex. Latest one was the PRG.

Thanks.

Re: Lost in Amex country...

There's no minimum time before another application with Amex as long as you are approved for the first; there's only a 30 day wait period after a denial.

Re: Lost in Amex country...

might want to wait for jan though.

everytime you get a card your aaoa will take a hit. but if you wait for jan. if you get approved all cards will be backdated to jan 2012 giving you an extra year on each card.

just my 2 cents.

With the good comes the bad. I'd rather be in your shoes. Being old sucks.

"All cards will be backdated to jan 2012..."?! I thought, in this case for example, the OP Zync's opening date would stay the same and be in September 2012 while every other card applied for in the future will be the month of the application but with the year of 2012. Therefore by waiting to apply for the card in January instead of this month, the card would say it was actually opened January 2012 (instead of October 2012) and give you an extra 9 months on that specific card (not the Amex cards applied beforehand).

Re: Lost in Amex country...

I'm not worried about backdating. I plan on keeping this "exclusive" card...lol.

I'm one of the few that fit a charger better than a normal revolver, but I want better rewards, since I'm in for the long haul.
