Lowes CLI

I applied for the Lowes Consumer card last night. I was instantly approved with a $500 limit. Not very usefull considering I just got a house and need a new riding mower. Hit the CLI button this morning and it was declined. I called in and asked for $2500 limit and it was instantly granted.

There is hope if you are given a small limit, and denied the CLI on the account page. Just call in ! lol. Lowes has just become my highest limit card....

Congrats! Happy to hear that they gave you a usable CL upon recon. Enjoy the card... DH has one and we both love it.

That's a great CL. Did you ask for the $2500? or did you tell them to give you the highest that they could with your credit profile?

Well, she would love a new washer and dryer set, but she would rather have a top loader washer with a glass lid. The tractor I want lowes doesnt carry. I want a garden tractor like an old Deere 318 with full hyrdaulics, but I only have half an acre, so I really only need a simple riding mower...

I do have a prior relationship with GEMB. I have a walmart card that is about a year old with a $1200 limit and an American Eagle card that is 4 months old with a $150 limit.

I was suprised how easy it was to get the CLI. The woman on the phone asked how much I wanted, I said $2500 thinking they would offer 1000 and it would give me time to build a relationship and get another increase just in time to get my new tractor. Now I'm seeing a bigger better tractor in my future. lol
