I have had a Lowes card with a $600 CL for 3 years...Will not increase it. Strangly though GE seems to give me a card whenever I apply however. Currently I have 5 cards. Probably ran about 4K minimum through there with no CLI. Home Depot went from 1K to 5 K in 6 months.
Shows how different credit is from person to person. Most everyone on here talks about how they get huge increases from GE.

I know! GE increased the line on my Amazon card from 1k to 2k during the same month the account opened!! GENEROUS!
My vote is for Lowes. At least around here they pretty much beat HD pricing on most everything.
Having just bought my house we noticed that prices were lower on the things we needed at HD (sometimes by 25%). I liked the 0% interest on all of the paint, fixtures, etc we needed.

what about us bank cash+? It has 5% on all home improvement stores.
There!!! Finally somebody is thinking outside the box. Sounds like a winner to me. Isn't it actually more than 5% because of the checking package bonus? I am always up for recommending US Bank as well, they rock!
Yes, the US BANK CASH+ ROCKS!! Yeah you do get a checking account bonus, I get an extra 25% from the gold package and I love it. The Bill Pay is just awesome. If you need home improvement, I would set 1 category to home improvement, one to bill pay and the 2% to whatever.
PS lowes sells gift cards. Shhh....
