I am downgrading to Titanium this year...they $0 out the AF for me to keep the Black Card another year...lol

It needs work to really be a luxury card...

Not just the Luxury Black card, I received it for my Aviator White WEMC. It was to be expected that Barclays would fall in line with the competition by removing those benefits from many of their cards, so I expect to hear this for more products.

A lot of these changes are to benefits MC offered. Barclays is just passing the word along.

Some changes may just affect your card.

Others affect other Barclays products.

Others affect ALL Mastercard products - including those from other lenders.

So I just got a email that says Sir Barclay is taking our extended warrantyand price protection and enhancing our CDW, whatever that means. See below:

“Your Benefits Are Changing
We’re making changes to the benefits you receive with your Barclaycard Ring Mastercard® effective November 1, 2019.
Your Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver and Identity Theft benefits will be enhanced. For example, you will now have access to an online monitoring dashboard and resolution features that scour the internet and Dark Web for compromised credentials and financial account takeover.
Your Extended Warranty and Price Protection benefits will be removed; however, claims can be submitted for eligible purchases made through October 31, 2019.
Restrictions, limitations and exclusions apply. Please go to the Rewards and Benefits section of the website for specific information about benefits that are being removed and added. You can also refer to your Guide to Benefits effective 11/1/19 at www.BarclaycardUS.com, which includes a full explanation of your updated coverages and details regarding specific time limits, eligibility and documentation requirements.”
