this happened to me i got the form notarized and sent back havent had any issues since they are just trying to make sure no one is using card applied for in your name and they are having to foot bill if its identity fraud..

Sorry how Discover treated you. Sadly ive heard of other people who went through the exact same thing.  It appears if a Discover card has a spending limit above $1500, that triggers weird protocols in that lenders security systems.  I'm in the rebuilding process of turning my credit status around but Discover will not be included in that journey.
