I was stunned when I read this!  It was nice not feeling compelled to tackle my furniture bill of several thousand given that it's interest free and not impacting utilization!  Oh well, like AMEX backdating, all good things come to an end it seems.

I called the credit team at Macy's and asked how they wlil be handling credit lines.  The rep I spoke with said the revolving line will have a larger limit than the combined total of all lines, assuming an account is in positive territory.  I guess that's something...

Interesting.   My Special Events account is due to be paid off on 7/20/15.  If they rolled that CL into my revolving one, that would put me at a $5400 CL.   It's a shame that the Special Events won't be a hidden TL anymore, however.  

I wonder what their plans are for the AMEX?

What's good about this store card? Hmmm up to 24 months interest free financing on furniture purchases and awesome discounts especially if you frequently shop at Macy's.

My statement came last week and I searched everywhere and cannot find the notice. Maybe it generated before the decision was made. I should try to add another major purchase acct for jewelry before July if that's when the change takes place
