Macys approved me.

I burned an affiliate store Hudsons/Marshal fields ten years ago kept getting denied, Well about  a week ago went online and registered an account and today I received an email saying apply for a Macy's card so I said what the heck and went for it. Well a screen came up and said  Welcome to the Stars this is your new card number You can start shopping now. However it didn't tell me my credit limit. Should I call CS? I hope this isn't a mistake maybe their in the Christmas spirit?

Macy's does not provide your CL when you get approved for their card.  You can call CS at 800-593-2543 and find out what your credit limit is through the automated system.

CONGRATULATIONS, I heard Macy's is giving out alot of credit during the holiday season.

Called customer service cl is 100.00 dollars I really don't care I just figured I would  ask for a GLI every 4mths. Im just glad Im not blacklisted anymore

Congrats on the new card!  You might wanna call into their credit dept to see if your limit could be raised to do some Xmas shopping .  I'm sure they might accomodate you.

$100 CL is a typical approval for an internet Macy's app. They may give you more credit when you first use the card in a store.

For the reference of others reading this thread Macy's should always be app'ed in-store.

Thank you Jefftca925  good advice I can't buy much with a 100.00 dollars at Macy's!!    I will call and ask for an increase monday. BTW the only reason I apped online is because they sent me an email. Macys had turned me down so much in the past I had gave up on apping with them until I recieved an invitation to app for their card  Oh well im still doing the happppy dance!!!!!!!!!! even with a 100.00 cl.

Good for you!  The card will definitely grow with you.  Plus it's a great store to shop at.
