I love my Barclaycard.... Im using it for almost everything because of the double points. But thanks to a balance transfer of almost $900.00 and everday purchases adding up, I'm getting dangerously close to my limit of $1500.00. Is it acceptable to pay off a chunk of this before I even receive my first bill? I wasnt sure if there was an etiquette for paying too soon. I dont want my account to be flagged or closed. Anyone have a similar experience with Barclay's? I would love to free up some credit as I am not wanting to make purchases these days without getting some sort of points for it. As always any input or comments are most greatly appreciated.
I've made multiple payments to my Barclays Arrival card before the first statement was cut and didn't have any issue. You should be fine.
