Lots of great remarks! As someone who has always wanted the Ritz card, I might be biased but have a question. How many paid stays does the OP actually have, and do they enjoy any of the perks those paid stays get as a result of the Ritz card?
If you do not have many paid stays, which I hope you dont, good.....definitely do not pay the annual fee if you dont get the full travel credit, as well as make enough in points from spending to offset the difference between AF and travel credit and other perks.....
Final question, what cards does OP have? How many opened in last 2 years? Dont rush to amex platinum unless you get the targeted or promotional bonus you deserve. Especially because you fly skyteam....
