I am a Marriott member and received an invite for a Marriott Rewards card by Chase with a 75k sub. Didn't know there was one other than the AMEX SPG. I'm not sure if I would get approved with Chase and don't want to add another HP. Plus, I just got approved for the AMEX Hilton Ascend with a 125k sub and would be stretching to spend the $5k for both in 3 months. Maybe someone thought the SPG was the only one, so here's the link.

If you don't think you can meet the minimum spend for both cards, I would just wait to finish one and then apply for the other. If those scores in your signature are current, I would wait before applying with Chase until you were closer to 700.
While your at it. I see in your siggy you have a 2 Cap1 Plats. Why not combine them on your QS? And of course close that Credit One card? You'd still be over the 3 card best for FICO scoring threshold. With that amount of cards are you carrying a high util? Scores should be higher.
Definitely wait until you're comfortable meeting the minimum spend. Also, don't forget the Chase Marriot card is limited by 5/24.
I am a current Marriott Card holder, that is 85$ a year with 1 free night. They offered an upgrade to new Premium Plus that you have pictured above, that will be 95$ a year, with the same 1 free night ( or they claim "a better free night"):
"Receive 1 Free Night Award every year after your account anniversary, with no minimum spend requirement. It's worth up to 35,000 points — an upgrade from 1 Free Night Award/up to 25,000 points"
However, what they dont say, (but you can find if you dig) is that they dropped benefits compared to old card:
- extended warranty (was +1 year)
- travel accident insurance (was 500.000$ - one of the highest in comparable cards)
- trip canellation or interruption (was up to 10.000$ per claim)
- rental car insurance
So the only thing that's left is baggage and trip delay and purchase protection.
Weird choice for a "travel card".
Ah well, I am not switching, and if they drop benefits on the current card, I'll just drop the card, no biggie. Hilton Amex or even Costco Citi provide comparable travel protections, so will become a new preferred card.
