Max CL in FICO

I've seen folks mention that any CL's over $50K are not factored in to FICO scores...can anyone explain that a little further.  Does that mean that when they determine your utilization rate, the aggregate max -- across all cards -- is $50K or just that for each individual card they only count the first $50K of limit?

Re: Max CL in FICO

Based on my own research, this is correct.  For instance, if you charge $20k on a $60k card, it will not include the balance on that card in your "total revolving balances" used in calculating your FICO.  This is slick, in that, if you have a card over $60k with a great BT offer you can take advantage of it without affecting your score.  I have only tested this with one credit card, but the balance was definitely not included.
