Yes, but there are also lots of other important things, and you probably don't want them to spend all that time on all those forums (drugs, drink, gambling, prostitution rings etc etc). Better just to inform them more directly.
Actually, my daughters' lack of excitement is good, they are viewing the cards as just a way to get some small rewards for spending they would otherwise do, and they know to pay in full.
