I was recently approved for unsecured Cap 1 card $500 and NFCU $500 nrewards. Denied everywhere else
yes I know it's a lot, I just get that uncontrollable itch! But since I have pretty much applied every and been denied, I don't think I will be apping anytime soon.

What was your score when you app'd for the card? What bureau did they pull?
Not sure yet, I think they pulled EX, which compliments of AMEX is 685 as of a couple weeks before this app. I'm assuming it was EX because no CK (TU) or SW (EQ) alerts thus far.
EDIT: I always must mention that I am a business owner making 6-figures and have closer to 6-figures in my Chase checking account. This definitely played a role. It also proves that money can buy approvals, sometimes.
I currently have 21 inq on EX and EQ and 17 on TU. I have been approved for: Chase freedom, Kanes, Ashley's, American Signature, Cap1 cash rewards and TJX card in September with all reports having over 18inqs and the only I had to recon was Chase. I also refi a unsecured loan for 3.4K with my credit union in August and I had about 18inqs.
I think the most I have ever had at one time was 12 on EX. I have 9 right now, with 2 that will fall off next week, and 2 more that will fall off in December. On TU and EQ, the most is maybe 4-5 each. Right now I have 1 on TU and 0 on EQ.

For me, its 15 inqs.. although 4 of those were for auto shopping.. But still.. 15 is a ton! I was also approved for a Citi Dividend with 10 inqs on my EX report..
Don't have the exact numbers but it was a lot, before I knew what my credit score was or any details on how the FICO worked, But we needed a car, and had 2k down payment. I walked in to a car dealership, and they saw my paycheck as a IT contractor that also had a bit of overtime reporting and we will get you financing just be patient, About 2 3 hours later we walked out with a car, and a car loan at an ungodly rate, and in the mail for the next 3 weeks straight we were getting denial letters, at least 4-5 each day. So I figured it was about 20 on each report from a single car loan. No credit cards, basicly only collections showing on the report when I was approved. But that was over 40 months ago. Car loan now paid off in full.
I now have about 9-10 Inq's over the last 2 years on each of my reports thanks to my AP addiction, thankfully I am fighting it, 6 weeks AP free today.

13 on TU and was approved for Walmart Discover with 12. Everyone pulls TU for me for some reason (three of them are HSBC/Cap one over a few week period over same $300 card) My EQ only has 5 (4 next week). So much for EQ being the main one pulled....not for me. TU loves me!!

Makes you wonder if inquiries really matter. I mean I get so stressed out over the possibility of a hard pull. Maybe they mean a lot less to creditors than the extent to which I worry about them.
I have 39 on each.
I have 24 currently on Experian and 12 each on the other 2.
