My Hooters Plastic is HERE!!

Yes, now I finally *really* believe I was approved! My cl REALLY is $2000 but the interest rate STINKS and I have an annual fee of $72. Oh well, I expected as much since my fico was only 563. I am so excited because just under 2 months ago NO ONE would approve me other than Tribute and Credit One. I couldn't even get an Orchard! This site and the people here are really awesome!

I'm anxious to see what the cl does for my util. My util is now at about 80% which I pay off before they report but hopefully this card will show up first so I can actually SEE the difference before I make my normal payment.

We will see....

Today is the 7th business day since I was told I was approved.

Bren, CONGRATS!! I still think they made a mistake on my cl, in light of my low score and my collections (5 of them, 2 of which are a year or less old). But I won't go complaining about it

You all are now on your way. No more sub prime cards for you all. Forget the secured cards.

Just keep spotless, clean pay history with them, and the offers will start coming in.

And believe you me, you'll start getting flooded with pre-approvals. But a word of caution: do NOT app every offer you have.

You are now in a position to be picky who YOU choose to get a card from. NOT what company will give me a card.

An incredible wealth of information and insight. Thanks for taking the trouble of compiling it all.
