My Jewelers Club..what am I missing?

This seems like such an amazing deal. Join MJC for $99. Then purchase something and automatically get a $5,000 revolving line of credit that reports to TU, EX and EQ. I cannot think of an easier way for people with sub prime credit to get a 5k cl. What am I missing?

It says " Get Immediate Approval For Up to $5,000.00 of Unsecured Revolving Credit!", where "up to" might be the key phrase.     If it's much smaller, you have paid $99 + at least $100 of stuff for not much credit.

From other forums and videos I have watched, 5k seems to be the norm. I hope other people have some insight as well!

I think its just better to work on why ones credit is bad and work on it. Do it correctly and you find you can have legit 5k limits without having to pay for it. Ive always heard if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Good motto

No...

I signed up. Put $68 or so worth of jewelry in my cart. Paid half of that plus $99 annual fee at checkout. Current balance is $34. I am looking for sth like this with a $10k or more CL.

Just saw an email that $100 minimum order is required. My order was deleted and my card apparently not charged. Will have to sign in and place another order. And resign contract etc blah blah. So FYI you guys. But so far, looking to see the improvement a revolving credit line will do to my score.
