It's hard to believe that 30 years have passed since I opened this account (for those of you wondering, I'm 51) :

I was 9 too so i've seen neighboring stores like Gimbels, Alexanders, B. Altman & Co., etc go down since then but Sachs is still going strong in midtown. super congrats, great store, great achievement. Cheers!Message Edited by score_building on 11-01-2008 03:34 AM
Thank you, score_building!
It was sad to see so many old names go out of business. I often wonder what stores will still be around 10 years from now!!!
Don't forget Sterns!
I used to have cards from all of them. I remember one of them merged with Macys and my account was converted. For a long time I had two Macys cards.
Thirty years and still open is a major achievement. Congratulations!

I must be getting old. I had to stop and think about how old I was 30 years ago. <sigh>
Congrats on having a card that long.
