Here is aq quick question, I have 11 inquiries (2 years) 5 for the last yr. I was thinking of asking amex for an increase from 1000 to 5000 & if they agree then seeing if discover and chase will follow suit.
I know this is a 5x increase but this is the leverage I will try to use:
I will be traveling outside the country at the end of the year and I want to take only a credit card and as little cash as possible to minimize theft damages. I will tell them that I would prefer to use their card over others and that I greatly enjoy their cs.if they say no then I will tell them I am sorry to hear that I will take my business to discover or chase.
My credit is clean no derogs no lates no collections. 717 score after apping for 5 cards. My question is do they look at my inq past one yr or not? If so, should app in july instead when 6 drop off the 2 year mark

That seems like a awful lot of inq's to me. Looks like you're asking to trade lead in for gold.
I hope things work out for you though. 
I've read throughout forums not just here that some people manage to get 4x... Of course thats hearsay with no proof
