I just got in with NFCU and have a sav and checking and have been slowly putting money into the accounts, wasnt going to do anything major like apping for at least another 60 days or 90 even, but after all the post about NFCU I said to heck with it and just transfered 500.00 into savings! Still no plans to do anything yet but at least when I am ready it will be there if I am denied a Cash Rewards, I have the funds there for the secured! Or maybe play it safe and do the secured first? I am just happy to be in and part of so I can relate to the OP!!
