All, seeking a little guidance. I have had the NFCU nSecured credit card for 18 month. Have the NFCU GoRewards $10K limit for 1 yrs.
Want to app for NFCU Amex. Current uti. Is 1%. Down from 80%.
All FICO 8's are @630.
Any advice????

Thanks for the input. Had very high utilization and was working them down.
NFCU is extremely generous.
Last NFCU score on APP. Was 645. Based on Eq9.
Have raised score 100 pts. In last 3 months lowering uti.

that is one of the things they really focus in on.
I have not App. With them since last card. Only recent INQ. Was refi of mortgage to lower rate to 2.75 from 5.66.
Why are your scores so low after paying down utilization?
