Score from them is 710 right now, so I'm waiting for some stuff I paid off to post up before asking for a CLI.
Would an APR reduction be a good thing to do in the mean time? Its on a Platinum 15K limit at 13.74%.
Call and ask them but i just placed my own request in with this beautiful CU and they trimmed it from 18% to a cool 11%.
No HP.
As i am no expert on them or even join in any of the NFCU discussions that go on, i can offer no solid advice if this routine procedure or not.
But like many others i also am quite impressed with NFCU.

Good luck, OP! Wow, CM! Makes me want to call for a lower interest rate.
My one year is tomorrow and navy advised to call tomorrow and see if i qualify for APR reduction... now, i paid all of my cards but one showing a balance... should I wait til reports update?? or does it even matter??
UPDATE:
Called to PC that same Rewards Card over to the Platinum today. Smooth as silk.
NFCU is totally awesome. The new APR will be 8% and some change and this is EXACTLY the rate range i been interested in for a long time from anyone, especially CU's.
The last time that i had such a good apr rate was when having the Ring Card long since closed.
In perhaps another year with NFCU it might just be possible to reach that sweet spot of 6%?
But this is HUGE for me on this end and NOW will most definitely become a very active usage account and then some.

I got a reduction from 18 to 14% no hp and I still am paying off a personal loan so you don't necessarily have to wait to pay anything off to get it. NFCU is amazing!
Congrats! on the effort and new rate.
Yes they are very helpful.
